What does Making Visual Change mean? Making Visual Change is the vision statement of Wu Media. We believe that Media is a very important part of our lives. It tells humanity about who we are. It helps reinforce where we have come and where we are going. It is the collective manifestation of our consciousness. Wu Media believes that we can use media as a tool to make the world a better place to envision a healthy world, and the steps it takes to reach these sorts of goals. That is why we at Wu Media have decided that we are “Making Visual Change.

Mission Statement

The mission of Wu Media is to challenge the idea that the production of visual media is an expensive and inaccessible process. We are here to announce that Wu Media supports a paradigm shift from exclusiveness to inclusiveness. In other words, we are here to foster productions which are created by people from all walks of life in an effective and affordable manner.

Wu Media Foundations

Wu Media is an advocate of the earth, working on creating media that supports a sustainable future and solutions for a challenged earth. This includes working with companies that are committed to sustainable practices as well as using the the most ecological practices possible in our own business.

Wu Media is also an advocate for human rights. This means that Wu Media desires to create media products that help people in adversity. Wu Media is committed to support the freedoms of all people, to end torture, war, genocide and to provide an outlet for organizations to share this message.

Wu Media is in support of the arts. We believe that art, music and self expression are gifts to be explored and shared. We believe that it is important to create models of media development that help people share their artistic visions.

Open Source Paradigm

****Wu Media is a supporter of new paradigm media models. This includes open-source projects that help liberate “free” media and to help tell stories that may not be supported in major top-down media models that currently dominate our media paradigm in traditional production practices. Wu Media is also a supporter of the Creative Commons copyright opening up more information that can be used by the public. Wu Media is a supporter of strengthening the common ownership of media.
