Business Process:
Step 1: Introduction and Initial Consultation
We recommend clients first share with us marketing materials, and multimedia assets. This is an information finding mission. We will use this information to fine tue the proposal, and to get the right people involved to deliver the desired service or product. This step is always free.
Step 2: Preproduction
We will schedule a preproduction meeting where we will determine specific goals and the proper steps to achieve those goals. We will write out a contract that both parties agree upon and sign. If needed we will also produce a script and determine specific guidelines and timelines. Any music, logo's, sounds and text should be determined here. Any needs from the preproduction services can also be utilized including gathering additional equipment talent or crew. The final output (DVD, Web or Broadcast) and distribution methods should also be addressed at this point.
Step 3: Production
Production is the action step. This is where Wu Media captures video footage, audio recordings and enacts preproduction decisions. Production goals determined in the preproduction process will be carried out at this point.
Step 4: Editing
(A) Rough Edit:
Wu Media will take the production media into the editing timeline. A rough edit will be made based on the preproduction outline and the client then take a look at the edit. We recommend the client take notes and give specific feedback on changes to be made. The client signs off on the first edit.
(B) Fine Edit:
At this point the finishing touches will be made to the video, it will be completed at this time. The client's recommendations will be resolved in the fine edit. The client then checks off the fine edit stage, and any final edits will be made at this point.
Step 5: Final product / Distribution
Wu Media will finish the plan started in the preproduction process. At this point the project will be rendered to the proper format depending on the distribution method. Any marketing plans started will be completed and put into place. The client will give a final complete check and sign off on the finished product including any other objectives determined in the preproduction plan. Wu Media will follow up with the client to check on the desired outcome and to make sure that the specific goals were reached. We suggest the client fill out a Wu Media evaluation form. All final monies are to be exchanged at this point.
